Wildlife incursions with a twist!

Gone Buggo is a one-of-a-kind educational opportunity! Blending toy photography, macro wildlife photography, science communication and fun, we offer bespoke environmental education possibilities for schools, kindergartens, OSHC facilities and the wider community. The twist, of course, is that there's no actual wildlife present, but with vibrant visuals and dynamic delivery our presentations bring all the awe and wonder of wildlife to the room without the potential distraction, mess, or risk of an actual live animal.

School Incursions

At Gone Buggo, our programs are designed to educate and inspire enquiring minds of all ages to learn more about the environment and the importance of conservation. Using up-close photos of an array of wildlife we have the ability to tailor curriculum-aligned presentations to all ages.

Presentations

There's something to learn for everyone! Entertaining, educational, and thought-provoking; our presentations can be customized to deliver engaging discussions around a variety of themes to audiences of any ages. From simply discussing the basics of such a unique style of photography to digging into serious ecology, we know how to get a room talking!

Testimonials

Steven came into Mossman SHS to talk to year 10 Agriculture about the importance of insects in the natural and agricultural environment. Steve was so good at engaging the students with his amazing photographs and the incredible stories that go with each one. The best feedback from the kids was the question “Are these stories true?” to which I replied yes and the students eyes widened “that bloke is crazy!”

Thanks for your wealth of knowledge and wonderfully entertaining style of presentation. Cant wait to have you back.

Andrew Ryan, Yr 10 Agriculture
